Sheyanne Williams joined CEMA in August 2022 as Administrative Assistant II. In this role, she serves as the liaison between staff, citizens, and professionals outside of the organization. She also strives to assist in the overall success of the agency's emergency management efforts. Prior to joining CEMA, Sheyanne served her community in the behavioral health, and non-profit sector as a Business Manager for two years.
Sheyanne is originally from Punta Gorda, Florida, where she often volunteered with her local Keep America Beautiful affiliate, Keep Charlotte Beautiful, in an effort to enhance sustainability efforts within the community and educate others on what actions can be taken to create a clean and environmentally responsible neighborhood. She also completed a Human Resources internship that provided insight into the political role of combating global poverty. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor's in Communication Studies. Sheyanne plans to use the skills she has learned to produce a more resilient community in which to serve.
