Register for CEMA Alerts
Residents and visitors that are interested in registering for CEMA Alerts can use one of two methods. Both allow for residents to sign up for text messages, which is a great tool during a hurricane evacuation.
1. Text CEMA to 77295

- This is the quickest method to register for alerts. It is immediate and does not require an email address or account creation. To stop recieving messages, simply reply STOP.
2. Register for CEMA Alerts through the County's Rave Alert program HERE
-
- Once you register, scroll all the way down to ensure you select CEMA Alert. This method will also allow for you to select other alerting programs from the City of Savannah and Chatham County's Mosquito Control.
- You can watch a step by step tutorial on this process in this VIDEO
