Tiffany Arant
Tiffany Arant, Emergency Management Specialist, joined the CEMA team in the Planning Division in 2024. She has experience in research, planning, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), disaster recovery, and grant management. With a strong academic foundation in emergency management principles at the graduate level, she is deeply committed to public service and fostering community resilience in times of crisis.
Born and raised in South Carolina, Tiffany earned her B.S. in Conservation Biology from Winthrop University and her M.S. in Emergency Management from Lander University, where she also obtained a graduate certificate in All-Hazards Management. During her graduate studies, Tiffany collaborated with local emergency management agencies, further solidifying her passion for the field.
In her current role, Tiffany applies her expertise and dedication to overseeing several Emergency Support Functions (ESFs), including ESF #3 – Public Works & Engineering, ESF #4 – Firefighting, ESF #9 – Search and Rescue, ESF #10 – HAZMAT, ESF #12 – Energy, and ESF #17 – Damage Assessment.
Tiffany relocated to Savannah in December 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her two dogs, Trace and Georgia. A proud Georgia Bulldogs fan, Tiffany cherishes her family’s legacy and attends multiple games each season to cheer on her favorite team.
