Below are the general instructions needing completed. The excel document contains 3 sections that should be completed by each city and agency. Check the worksheet upon completion to ensure you have all your documents completed. The team agreed to have this information back no later than Sept 13th.

General instructions regarding the CAD/RMS RFP examples. Reminder the background information tasks should be completed prior to reviewing the examples RFP documents.

  • There are a wide-range of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, approach and formats. The Purchasing Office of each jurisdiction provides direction on the type/format of RFP that will be used for the project.
  • The objective of reviewing recently published CAD/RMS RFPs is to leverage work completed by counterparts from other jurisdictions (e.g., 9-1-1/PSAP, Law enforcement, Fire/Rescue, EMS, EM, IT, GIS)
  • Project Team members should identify system capabilities, functionality and features that are applicable, not applicable and/or require a discussion.
  • We will complete workshops to combine all the relevant information.
